A Three-Generation Vision of Purpose
CBPA was founded by Kathryn Daniels, whose vision was grounded in faith, service, and the belief that young women should be equipped to represent themselves and their community with excellence. She established CBPA to instill Christian values, professionalism, and leadership while raising funds to support college education.
That vision was passed to her daughter, Hattie Daniels Rush, who faithfully carried the mission forward—expanding the impact of the Cotillion and ensuring that the program remained centered on faith, discipline, and community responsibility.
Today, the legacy continues through her daughter, Ericka Rush, who now leads the CBPA Cotillion and was Miss Debutante 1993. Under her leadership, CBPA remains committed to honoring tradition while preparing young women for the demands and opportunities of today’s world.
CBPA stands as a testament to generational leadership, intentional mentorship, and faith in action.
